Boutique

Our client envisioned a serene and welcoming environment, with a sense of modernity whilst paying homage to his hometown, Dorset and farmers heritage. The boutique needed to encompass all essential areas such as the lounge, administration and fitting room. The client held concerns with the limited capacity, therefore we were particular in our furniture choices, selecting items which created the illusion of space.

Inspired by Mid-Century references, the client was looking for a contemporary and timeless feel,  as well as embracing natural elements. We used materials such as linen, woods, wool, leathers and ceramics. Local suppliers in the UK were sourced wherever possible. Much of the production was ethical, in that we up-cycled fallen branches and trunks from my clients’ family farm, and made a bespoke clothing rail and a hand tarnished coffee table.
